Overview

Bitcoin Radar ("the App") is developed by RND Merch LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

The short version: we do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Information we do not collect

The App does not:

  • Create user accounts or require login
  • Collect personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
  • Use analytics or tracking SDKs
  • Employ advertising frameworks
  • Use cookies or similar tracking technologies
  • Access your contacts, camera, location, calendar, or other sensitive device features

Data stored on your device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Watchlist items: Bitcoin addresses and transaction IDs you choose to track
  • User preferences: Currency selection, notification settings
  • Price alerts: Alert thresholds you configure
  • Recent searches: Address and transaction search history
  • Widget data: Cached data for home screen and lock screen widgets

This data is not transmitted to any server and remains entirely under your control. You can delete it at any time by removing items from the app or uninstalling the app.

Network requests

The App connects to the following external service to retrieve public blockchain data:

These API requests fetch publicly available Bitcoin network data (block information, transaction data, fee estimates, mining statistics, price data). No personal identifiers are transmitted with these requests. The requests contain only public Bitcoin addresses or transaction IDs that you voluntarily search for.

We do not control mempool.space's data practices. Please refer to their privacy policy at https://mempool.space/privacy-policy for details.

In-app purchases

Subscription and donation purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive, process, or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Push notifications and Live Activities

The App uses Apple's ActivityKit for Live Activities on the Dynamic Island and lock screen. These are powered locally by the app and do not use a remote push notification server. No data is sent to external servers for this feature.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
